  AIDS Planning Coalition of South Central PA Membership   Minimize

Two types of memberships are offered, individual and organizational. Individual memberships are available for private citizens who are affected or infected by HIV/AIDS. Organizational memberships are available to professsionals who serve populations or communities at risk or infected by HIV/AIDS. Membership is free and and confidential. Our membership list is not shared with other organizations or vendors.

Community Volunteer

We seek individuals who want to improve their community by participating in committee and Board positions that support and guide the planning processes for HIV / AIDS care and prevention in south central PA.  Requirements: Candidates should possess a high commitment to serve their community and creatively solve problems related to health and social issues affecting diverse populations. Ability to attend monthly meeting during business hours at a Camp Hill location and provide occasional phone, administrative, or research work for a three year term.  Benefits: fellowship with other dedicated citizens, and impact persons in need through application of faith-based and secular values.

 

 

 
Professional Volunteer

We seek professionals who desire leadership and networking opportunities by participating in committee and Board positions that support and guide the planning processes for HIV / AIDS care and prevention in south central PA.  Requirements: Candidates should possess business management skills and strategic planning experience. Creative problem solving to health and social issues affecting diverse populations is recommended. Ability to attend monthly meeting during business hours at a Camp Hill location; provide occasional phone, administrative, or research work for a three year term is needed.  Benefits: work experience with fellow professionals with medical, mental health, community service, and education backgrounds.

 

 

 
Young Adult Volunteer

We seek young adults who desire leadership and work experience by participating in committee and Board positions that support and guide the planning processes for HIV / AIDS care and prevention in south central PA.  Requirements: Candidates should possess a high level of commitment to community service; be able to apply creative problem solving to health and social issues affecting diverse populations; attend monthly meeting during business hours at a Camp Hill location; and provide occasional phone, administrative, or research work for a three year term.  Effective writing and oral communication skills are also recommended.  Benefits: work experience with public policy, strategic planning, infectious disease, and service planning.
